So, where do I begin…
No matter how old you get, there is NO substitute for your Mom!!!!
…when you don’t feel well, are in pain, need to talk, have an exciting event happening, a kid or grandkid brag, a new joke to tell, something funny to laugh about, need comfort, need advice, have a question on an old recipe, family info I forgot to ask about, a hug only your Mom can give…..the list never ends…
On this Mother’s Day, I will once again be forced to be satisfied with the photos and the memories I hold safe in my heart;
I’ll continue to wish I could share all the latest news, watch her love up and be silly with my precious grandbabies…her great grand-babies, give parenting advice to their mommies and daddies, hear her laugh and tell her giddy jokes…and hug her again…
Cherish your Mom if you still have her…even when she drives you crazy…cuz believe me, when she’s gone, you’ll miss that, too
I was blessed to have the best mom in the world, who taught me to love God first; to be strong and independent, but not so proud to know when you need your loved ones; to be a caregiver and a nurturer; to be brave and courageous, but that it’s ok to cry, too; and to be my children’s biggest cheerleader and love them with my whole heart, even through the times they step on it…
I wish I could take back every time I broke hers, because you don’t realize how precious your mom is, until you don’t have her anymore 💔
