How Do You Define Success?
When people ask how much success you’ve had, many times they are measuring it only on a monetary basis…
They want to know how much money you are earning.
They want to know how many people/clients you are working with.
They want to know because they feel your results determine whether you are “worth” associating or working with
They may want to know how well you can lead…or “recruit”
There may be those who surpass you in ‘numbers’ and go straight to the top in that aspect….
Their ‘success’ is evident and clear to see in the numbers game…
Yet, when you TRULY come from a place where there is no competition in the Kingdom…
WHY are you still comparing yourself to them…or worrying about them comparing you???
Everyone has different reasons, journey’s, levels of “recruiting’ experience, timelines, goals and purpose…
Some don’t care about numbers…
It’s more about impact and results…
It’s about true relationships.
Ask yourself what YOUR reason is…
How do YOU define success?
Is it only in a monetary or material sense???
Only you know the answer…
Would a call from someone whom you had prayed for, that let you know as a direct result of your prayer, they had been given an answer or breakthrough from God for what they were seeking be success??
How about messages from people telling you how much you bless and encourage them…
Pulled them out of their dark place…
Facilitated a breakthrough…
Made them realize they are worthy…
Inspired them to do something they have wanted to do, but had given up on…
Restored their relationships…
Gained the confidence and resources to educate their children…
Was inspired to grow their own food…
Are now running their household more peacefully and efficiently…
Are stewarding their resources and finances better…
Have strengthened their faith…
Found ways to support themselves and their families with things they had never thought of because of your help…
Have the courage to set boundaries and break free from toxicity in their lives…
Have decided to follow their calling…
Is that “success” to you???
Is God whispering in your ear “THAT is your TRUE Success.”
Are the people in your life the TRUE riches??
The lives you have touched and helped to grow in amazing ways…
Do you see the eternal value in that???
Do you see the ripple effect that can have??
To me, that is absolutely priceless!!!
I have earned six figures, and I have had times of struggle…
But in ALL of those times, I have been blessed…
I have been rich because of what I have sown…
As well as, by those who have sown into me.
The GROWTH and BLESSINGS that resulted in both…
Personally, I can list so many things that have happened in my life, just over these last few months, that had zero monetary gain, but will echo into eternity.

You can’t put a price on any of that.
I also know that God has been doing a work in my own heart.
Digging deeper into the soil, fertilizing it, softening it, pruning and refining me even further.
And here’s the thing, I know the harvest that is coming!
I’ve already seen some of it.
NONE of these things that didn’t earn me extra income have been a waste, because they have changed LIVES, and my own roots have grown deeper and wider.
The bamboo tree takes five years to grow.
It has to be watered and fertilized in the ground that it has been planted every single day.
It doesn’t even break through the ground for five years.
After five years, once it breaks through the ground, it will grow up to 90 feet tall in five weeks!
The question is: did the Chinese bamboo tree actually grow 90 feet tall in five weeks…or in five years?
The answer is obvious, it took 5 years.
If at any time the sower stopped watering and fertilizing that tree, it would die in the ground.
Some people do not have the patience to wait for the tree to grow, yet many do…
I have planted, watered and fertilized for years…
And I am now in my bamboo season!!
Are you ready to begin yours??
If you’re not growing, you’re dying!!!
